The amazing thing about Lance's FAQ is that it very well fits MSAVR.
The only differences are the components to be bought and soldered on
(documented), the DB37 pinout (documented)
and program uploading (which is actually simpler!), also documented.
Even megatune using and engine tuning is the same.
In some future firmware revision current megatune might not be able to
reach all advanced functions (similar as with any other extensions, like
dual-table-code),
megatunix will be matched 1st (most likely someone will compile it for
win32,
maybe you?). If that happens, that will be documented as well.

The thing msavr lacks is complete _programmers_ documentation. (although
there are many comments and explanations in the cvs.) This is not needed
for newbies. If someone wants to join development, _catching up
is still faster for most people_, thanxs to Kernighan and Ritchie.
We have a developers list to not clutter megasquirt list with msavr stuff.
Please send updates to this page or other documentation to
cell at x-dsl.hu preferrably in html or diff form. Thanx.
