Useful technology for mankind - nuclear energy: a renewable resource
Some technology of interest (we're working on, or been involved throughout the years).
- Embedded realtime systems
- Engine management system (spark ignition engines)
- Reclaimer of Bulk / Solid (energy and investment efficient reclamation of woodchips from silo)
- STM32 / AVR / ARM / FPGA (myhdl / VHDL / Verilog)
- Data acquisition (industry, smart-home, HRV)
- Sensors (HALL, capacitive, ultrasonic ; eg. motion/fluid level, ...)
- Simulations (work-in-progress): C/C++ povray constructive solid geometry raytrace(), n-energy dependent (MCNP) MFP/event simulation of core+blanket with nubar/spectrum and cross-section data from ENDF-VII format files. Generations of (n,f) products+daughters (and fraction of delayed n produced outside fluid fuel core because of circulation) is not currently implemented inside the simulation core (can be scripted between runs, these change relatively slowly compared to the n generations).
CHP: Electric + heat energy from biomass (lower limit in practice: 11 (dry)kg/h ~10kW ; more economical around 30..50..100..500kW ... greater is possible with 1 or several producers)
